Birthday Book Tag

Ok so last weekend was my birthday so I thought it would be an appropriate time to do the Birthday Book Tag. This tag has been around for awhile so I have no clue who started it.

Question 1

The Birthday Cake

A book with a plot that seems cliche but you adore it anyway.

Just One Day - Gayle Forman Just One Day by Gayle Forman.

This is insta love to the max. Following a guy to Paris for a day and then pinning over him for the next year but I LOVED it.

Question 2

Party Guests

Your most anticipated book release this year.

Escaping from Houdini - Kerri Maniscalco Escaping from Houdini by Kerri Maniscalco.

I have only talked about this book once or twice!!!

Question 3

Birthday Presents

A book that surprised you with how much you loved it.

Letters to the Lost - Brigid Kemmerer Letters to the Lost by Brigid Kemmerer

I highly recommend this book. I loved it and I can’t wait to read the companion book in the series.

Question 4

“Happy Birthday” Song

A book that certainly deserved all the hype it got.

Obsidio - Amie Kaufman Obsidio by Amie Kaufman & Jay Kristoff.

Need I say any more.

Question 5

Happy Music

A book with some very beautiful and truly memorable quotes.

Throne of Glass - Sarah J Maas Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas

There are some amazing quotes in this book and series. I especially love:

“Libraries were full of ideas—perhaps the most dangerous and powerful of all weapons.”

Question 6

Getting Older

A book that you read a long time ago, but you think you would appreciate more if you read it as a more mature reader.

Sickened - Julie Gregory Sickened by Julie Gregory

I actually did reread this book last year and I got so much more out of it being older. This is a difficult book to read as it is all about the child abuse that Julie suffered from her Mother.

Question 7

Sweet Birthday Memories

A book that kept you incredibly happy during a sad or demanding period of your life.

I don’t have an answer for this one as when I am going through a difficult time I either go into a massive reading slump or I read books similar to how I am feeling. I don’t read happy books when I am sad.

So that is all for this Tag. If you haven’t done this tag then I tag you to do it on your birthday.

Happy Reading
