Summer Biannual Bibliothon Wrap Up

Ok so I’m just going to start out by saying that I didn’t do that well during this Read-a-thon. I was hoping to get a decent amount of reading over the first weekend but I managed to distract myself by re-organizing my bookshelves and cleaning the house.

I started off the read-a-thon by reading Circe by Madeline Millar and I got to page 161 however as much as I was enjoying the book it was taking me way too long to read it so I put it down and started Letters to the Lost by Brigid Kemmerer.

I loved this book and if I didn’t need to sleep I would have read this in one sitting. Reading this helped me get pumped up again with my reading for the week so I went straight into reading The Wicked Deep by Shae Ernshaw. This was an easy read and since I had the day off work I was able to read this in the one day. Then as the read-a-thon was drawing to a close I picked up From Twinkle, with Love by Sandhya Menon. This is also when my addiction to Netflix went into full swing so needless to say I barely started this book.

I also managed to complete the first two blog challenges but then there was one challenge that I didn’t want to complete and then I forgot to go back and complete the others. My Bad!.

I did say in my TBR that I was going to complete the Instagram challenges but I struggled with the time zone differences because the prompts were posted so late in the day for me and then I got really confused which day I should be posting. I would love it if next time they were released a week earlier like the blog challenges were.

So to summarise here is what I achieved:

2 books completed
1 book 50% completed
1 book 15% completed
2 blog challenges completed.

I hope that I can do better at the Winter Biannual Bibliothon and maybe I will put my name in to host a blog challenge. I really enjoy this read-a-thon and even though it has only been the second time I have completed it I look forward to many more to come.

Happy Reading
